Tommy Lee: Motley Crue drummer, amateur porn star, and... DJ?
Over the past few months, I've done a bit of design work for a guy (Heath) who promotes DJs and organises events. This blog I posted on his MySpace page pretty much sums up my Thursday night at his Electro Mayhem event with Tommy Lee (yes, the Tommy Lee, who slept with Pamela) and DJ Aero. Except it doesn't mention the part where the security got stingy and wouldn't let me on stage to get photos, even with Heath's permission. Stupid Hollywood. I did manage to get a good shot of Tommy feeding alcohol to some random chicks in the crowd though, and one of my mum's friends was bragging about having a security guard ask him for some coke for Tommy. Got home at 3:30am and man, was I tired at work the next day :/
Despite a delayed entry due to a late plane flight, Tommy Lee and DJ Aero's arrival was certainly highly anticipated and well received. The pair mixed a plethora of hit tunes to an extraordinarily large Thursday night crowd all night long, while girls whispered to friends and passed notes addressed to Tommy to his security guards.
Some were seen scrambling onto the stage in an attempt to get autographs, and many adoring screams could be also be heard. The man himself even took a few minutes out of his set to get up close and personal with his fans in the crowd, offering them alcohol and signing autographs.
